Saturday morning mail, pink and delicate Roses....

Lol It seems to be becoming a ritual on Saturday morning, I should know when the door bell rings that it is the mailman dropping something off. ... and this morning to my surprise I had already forgot...(Need to stop doing that)...I was exciting when I opened it..I guess I thought it came fast. Aren't these sweet...I thought they were...they weren't very much...

The Roses remind me of the Royal Albert Lavender Rose...I have two tea cups with no saucers...I finally found one today on Ebay...

It's not exactly but it's similar...

I sure wish that I could afford a camera...a expensive one...to learn how to do pictures, though I can't complain my little phone doesn't do to bad sometimes...Well I think that they look good together and when I finish my white and pink star doily it will be nice with it as well...I have been lazy today, I went to get me a manicure and a pedi...haven't gone in a while. I went with Vee, she got her eyebrows done...well I did too...and now I came to Mom's. I bought us all burritos, yummy haven't had that for a long time either...What did you do this Saturday...???

I would love to get a Royal Albert Lavender Rose Tea Pot. It will have to be on hold though, they are around $100. up...Maybe later rite...wink...

I just love these...so happy and pleased that I got them...I have been busy crocheting away and needed a break today..So it was a me & Vee day today...it was nice to spend the time with her alone...just us...like before..

I have one more Pink and White Star doily to make and one more Tea Bag holder and then I will be done with my order...Phew...lots of work...

This one is for me...white in the middle and pink on the outter it will be...I have decided that I will crochet for my customers on week days and the weekend is my time...just have to or I will be crochet crazy...lol...don't get me wrong I love it but my little hands need a break...

I do a little bit in the evenings..depending on what interrupted me during the day time. My couch full of doilies thread and what nots...

More Roses on my sugar bowl, there is nothing like sweet Roses from tiny to big pink or whatever color it may bring...

Pansy's,Tea and me....

Good afternoon, I have been home of course you knew that. I went home and did some changes to my bed room, I think I'm going to like the Purple...Look what I got in the mail this morning...It's a little phonograph, with sweet violets. I couldn't resist it..It came from the Uk...the package had royal postage on it...funny...It's bone china from England but it was only $8.00

It's just so sweet, I love it..I almost got another piece but someone beat me..I do have some egg Salt & Pepper shakers coming...they are only $1.99 now you have to say that was a bargain rite...O and I have to tell you my Pansy Tea Pot finally arrived, seems that I had been waiting forever and a day...the postman left a slip cause apparently I had missed it and wasn't home. but I went the day I left here and picked up the box but it didn't feel like it was my pot...I was sure it wasn't, but to my surprise when I opened the box it was just that all packed nice and neat.

So of course I took it out rite away and washed her up and got her ready for morning Tea....It looks so sweet with my Tea cup...

Then I dressed it all up with pansy's from the garden..I love Pansy's...

Tiny pansy in a tea spoon...They blew from the wind and they live inside a crack in the garden between ...

I think Pansy's are unique all on there own...each one has it's own characteristics and beauty...

I'm just dying to make some crocheted pansy's...

This is a most delicate pansy doily, the size of a English muffin

And my new Tea Pot cookie cutters...which you can barely see...I wanted to make some cookies but didn't maybe later...

well I think that's all for today, I have some things to unload from the car and put into the attic...and maybe do some stuff in Mom's Garden, Its a mess and I thought I should do just a little bit. TUESDAY SUNSHINE.....and other things...

THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL MORNING FOR ONCE...FINALLY A SUMMER DAY...WE ARE SUPPOSE TO HAVE A SUMMER WEEK....BUT I'M NOT SURE IF THAT'S REALLY GOING TO HAPPEN EVEN THOUGH THAT'S WHAT THE WEATHER LADY SAID...WILL SEE...WELL I'M STILL AT MOM'S...WAS WAITING FOR MY SISTER WHO SAID TO WAIT SHE WOULD BE COMING AND NEVER DID....I COULD HAVE DROVE MYSELF HOME THANK YOU VERY MUCH...BUT I WAITED ONLY FOR HER TO SAY I'M NOT COMING WHEN IT WAS ALREADY AROUND 8 OR 9 PM....BUT ANYWAYS I'M GOING TO LEAVE IN A LITTLE BIT TO GO HOME. SWEETPEA NEEDS TO BE FED AND SO DOES THE GARDEN AND I'M READY FOR HOME...IT'S NICE THAT I ONLY LIVE ABOUT 10 MINS AWAY DRIVING TIME FROM MOM...SO LAST NITE I RAN OUT OF THREAD TO CONTINUE TO WORK ON MY TEA BAGS...LOL...(YOU MUST BE SICK OF THEM BY NOW)...SO I HAD SOME LIT GREEN LEFT AND I HAVE BEEN WANTING TO DO THIS CAUSE I HADN'T IN A LONG TIME AND I HAVE A FEW OF THEM...TALKING ABOUT WOODEN HANGERS, CROCHETED...I STARTED ONE WITH THE LIT GREEN AND I REALLY LIKE IT...I'M JUST FINISHING THE LONG PART AND WILL SEW IT TOGETHER..
HAVE YOU EVER DONE THIS, IT WAS ONE OF THE FIRST THINGS THAT I REMEMBER LEARNING, BUT WITH YARN...MOM HAD A YOUNG LADY FRIEND WHO HELPED ME LEARN BASIC'S...WE USED TO HAVE POT LUCK DINNERS AND SHE WOULD SHOW ME WITH YARN...I WAS PREGNANT WITH MY SECOND CHILD AT THE TIME. I MADE BLANKET AFTER BLANKET MAKING MY OWN DESIGNS...BUT MY PASSION WAS TO LEARN THE ART OF FINE THREAD CROCHETING...THERE IS SO MUCH I DON'T KNOW CAUSE I HAVEN'T ANYONE TO TEACH ME..I CAN NOT READ BOOK DIRECTIONS VERY WELL SO MOST OF MY CROCHETING IS DONE BY SITE AND MY OWN IMAGINATION...
I'M HOPING THAT I CAN FIND SOME MORE HANGERS WOODEN...I HAVE ABOUT THREE AT HOME BUT WOULD LIKE TO DO MORE OF THEM..SO I WILL PROBABLY TAKE A LOOK ON LINE TO SEE WHAT I CAN FIND...
LINENS,CROCHET, I LOVE THEM ALL ROLLED UP TOGETHER...THERE'S NOTHING MORE DIVINE TO MY EYES...BESIDES A PRETTY GARDEN BUT SOMEHOW I THINK THEY ALL RUN TOGETHER...GODS PRECIOUS GIFT WITH LABORS OF LOVE....
I LOVE THE GREEN IT SEEMS COOL AND REFRESHING NICE FOR SUMMER ...I'M GOING TO PUT A WHITE SCALLOPED EDGING LIKE THE TEA BAG HAS...THEN I'M GOING TO MAKE SOME WHITE FLOWERS FOR THE TOP....I WILL SHOW YOU WHEN IT'S FINISHED...I WAS SCOUTING UP IN THE ATTIC FOR LINENS, AND FOUND MY WHITE PILLOW CASES WITH CROCHETED EDGINGS...I LOVE THEM, I HAVE HAD THEM FOREVER...GOING TO BE SAD WHEN THEY FALL APART...


I ONLY HAVE ONE OF THESE, BUT I CAN STILL USE IT FOR I HAVE FIVE PILLOWS I KEEP ON MY BED...HERE IS MY TINY BUNNY AND PURPLE SHOE...I LOVE BUNNIES AND BEARS...MY LITTLE FANCY SHOE I FOUND AT A GOODWILL...I LOVED IT BECAUSE IT REMINDED ME OF VICTORIAN TIMES...SOME OF THE LINENS I FOUND IN MY THINGS IN THE ATTIC...I NEVER FOUND MYSELF TO BE A MODERN GIRL, NOT NEVER EVER SINCE I CAN REMEMBER I WAS FASCINATED BY OLD THINGS..I WOULD PONDER ABOUT IN THE BASEMENT LOVING ALL THE SURROUNDING OF THE PAST...I JUST NEVER KNEW THAT I WOULD GROW TO LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT....
I REMEMBER FINDING THESE FOR $1.49 AT SAVERS WHICH IS NO LONGER HERE AND MAKES ME SO SAD....HE HE HE MY BUNNY PLAYING ABOUT IN THE LINEN....TIME TO GATHER UP AND PUT IT ALL INTO A BAG FOR HOME...I HOPE YOU ENJOYED OUR TRIP TO THE ATTIC AND MY CROCHETED HANGER....BUNNY HUGS & KISSES WISHING YOU A DAY FULL OF HAPPINESS AND SUNSHINE...WITH LOVE ALWAYS JANICE...
