Just A Quite Afternoon at home...

I have been home. I went to church over the weekend and it was divine... I gathered up so much information about Jehovah and the bible.. I saw a drama from back in time that they presented on Sunday afternoon like they did when I was young.. It was about the Jews and Trusting in Jehovah God and having strong faith to know that he will come through and take care of the things for his faithful followers in his time, patience is required.  I was so happy that I got to attend two of the three days...  I met new people seen people from before from when I grew up.. it was just wonderful..

Yesterday at home I took some photos of my Chinese Tea Pot which I really love.. I bought pretty soup bowls to match and spoons too.. One day I imagine to have soup and tea like the Restaurant..

They are just so pretty... they have sweet lite and dark flowers and sweet green leaves but so delicate of a pattern.. Whispery Flowers

 

 

I love White dishes with grape and fruit design.. 

White and light Blue napkins I have always loved these napkins .. I also have a few other table topper pieces..

 

 

My pretty plate that I found  at the Goodwill ... It has a light whitish blue edging..

My mini dome, It's for one single cupcake... I put a crocheted flower inside it... I can't wait to make a pretty cupcake and place it in there.. but for now the flower will do.. I found it at Ross store the other day..

 

         Another little flower girl.. in light blue.. I tied a ribbon around her.. She is not to tall ..

Just a thought or two or three

Good mornin, I just thought today I would share some vintage photos that I found... I'm day dreaming of changing my Dinning Room but spent the early morning surfing looking at vintage Kitchen's, Table cloths you name it.. I have a lot of blue in my house Kitchen and Dinning area.. So I'm thinking seriously about changing that area to greens.. I love my blue but I have had blue forever..

I love this photo, the kitchen the sink area is wonderful the cabinets I love specially the middle one where it scallops .. love all those green glass knobs.. I had at one time a bag full of different sizes and a so called friends brother stole them I was so angry.. .. but I have this idea in my head of changing the knobs on my hutch to green and my buffet to green and paint them both .. I have had them both for years now. and they are due for a make over.......and I'm certainly ready for one...

I would like to get some green transferware.. I have several pieces of Green Pyrex... and I have some Jadeite which I love...

 

 I really like Green Pyrex .. I have a lot of  Turquoise and white..

I'm loving this green...wouldn't mind having this vintage tablecloth either...

Don't you wish you could just take things out of a photo that you want lol... wouldn't that be great..

Well I guess that's it for today .. I'm off to home to get ready for the assembly that church is going to have.. Friday Saturday and Sunday..It's a huge huge special Event.  I can't wait, I have to prepare some things to bring for lunch.. It's a all day Event.. they used to prepare food but it's to complicated so they now have everyone bring their own things. Helo everyone, I have to say it's started out to be a yukie kind of day.. then it changed to a better day thank goodness... I have been so sick and finally I'm starting to feel like me again..I'd love to live in this pink house wouldn't you...

I thought that I would share some green items with you today a change of pace...

 

My lovely Green lady head.. and these little flowers I'm not sure what they were used for but I also found those on the truck.. years ago..

  Purple with white...

 

Tiny and delicate they are..very sweet...

 

I have another Lady head with roses but my daughter has it... and I thought I had one more besides but I haven't located it yet...

 

A very delicate hankerchief with sweet tiny little Embroidered flowers ... I also purchased three more two you can see in the above picture.. white with green crocheted edgings.. very pretty as well...I somehow lost the photo for it.. You can though see bits and pieces of it through out the photos...

The lace is very pretty and very very delicate.. I just love it...I'm always amazed of how things could be so sweet and delicately made... In my opinion there is no comparison today...

              I found both of these at the lovely tea shop... Love Joy's Attic..

 

Sweet crocheted pot holder... I love the things that I find there always.. they might be a little bit more but to me it like going into a candy store....but nothings ever the same barely...

And several tea towels... with green and one Rooster... full of color...

       I really love this one with the two large yellow pears ... big green and beige checks...

For some reason this one doily stood out to me.. I liked the shape and the fact that it was green and off white.. I don't know how it was made but would like to someday figure it out...

This little lady I have had for a long time too... I enjoy her so much as well...

She has a very sweet face on her... You know my most favorite girl got broke along time ago. She was stored away in a box for years and a few years back when I was going through my things I found her broke as some other things I nearly cried.. she was much larger in light blue and off white with tiny flowers she has a wide skirt..I had found her on the truck.. O she was a beauty..so sad..............wish she was still together...
