Well my intentions are to head for home today, whether I actually make it or not well that's another thing.... Nurse called back yesterday but didn't have the information that I needed. So I decided to be strong today and just go home in hopes of everything working out find. Trusting in the Father above to help me with keeping the strength and good focused mind that I need. Taking one day and step at a time....
So first on the list is to finish getting packed up and get ready to leave. First stop will be the Gas station to put Gas and then the Eye Dr. Office to pick up my new glasses, heading for the Grocery store to pick up some things for home. I have mail waiting at home and things to attend to... I miss home so much...
Well I have been working on my doily a little bit. Did some more last nite.
Can't wait to finish and move on to another...I made it up a while back ago. I had did the first one in white and lt. blue of course...
I thought it would be nice in Christmas colors, with the shinny red I had found while back ago at the Goodwill. Well Dr. finally gave me a call, good thing I waited on her I had it all backwards... So I have used my first dose and I'am a little bit nerves so I'm just trying to stay calm and go on with the day. So I have decided to remain at Mom's to see how I fair for the day... The uncomfortable part is knowing that I have to do this in the evening and I don't want to panic... I'm some what jittery ... Dr. said I will have to be on it for about two months...Yuk...Hopefully I will adjust to it and be okay...I think the key is to keep me busy so I don't think to much on it...I have tried another version of the Pillsbury Crescent Rolls, I had bought some Cherry Pie filling in the can... and I wanted something sweet the other day but didn't want a big whop la to do... So I had a small brain storm lol....Popped open that can of Cherry pie filling and a can of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls a put a large teaspoon full consisting of two cherries inside and rolled them up and kind of taking the edges and posting them on the top of the crescent to kind of close it... While they were baking Mom recalled having another tub of Lite Cool whip and I thought of some finely chopped walnuts...
When they came out of the oven I let them cool for about five then litely dusted them with powdered sugar...
And when I was ready for one topped it with the lite cool whip and some finely chopped walnuts...( they must be finely chopped to get the nice affect )
It was divine and hit the spot, so I have gathered that you can pretty much use and put most anything inside them...I had recently seen a picture of putting Nestles chocolate morsels inside with some tiny marshmallows I can only imagine that it was good... though I can eat chocolate any more because of the silly panic attacks...I didn't care at first but at time truly these days I miss it sometimes in the past I would stop at See's candies and pick up a few and I truly miss my Rocky Road candy and Ice Cream...
Well I have seem to calm down a bit, maybe it won't be so bad after all...Hope not wishing you a grand day today...with love n blessings...with Love Janice xxxxx

Thanks for the mention! :) Your dessert looks delicious! Some times I don't want to make a big dessert either so I will mix together some ricotta, sugar and a touch of vanilla and eat it. My husband finds it disgusting but my daughter and I love it. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Marilyn, and you are welcome Elsa...I love going to visit your blog...
