Replacing my teacups...

Good Saturday morning lovelies,  I'm so glad you stopped in for a visit.  I'm so happy.  Last year almost I had sent a tea basket to my granddaughter who was having a operation on her burnt leg at the hospital, Maybe you remember.  Well when they came back everything was fine.  But,  the bad part was...
When I didn't put them properly away, well three of the teacups fell out of the basket onto the floor and broke...  And my heart nearly exploded with sadness...
So I had been searching and searching online and couldn't find any, but, finally when I did see one it was a set for $35.00 and I was just not agreeing with that at all.  The next I saw was $15.00 plus shipping would been around $40.00, and to me that was still ridiculous...
But all of a suddened came a post for $4.99 and cheap shipping no bidding buy now. Hooooray hooray, finally and it was just for the the teacup..  I still had the saucers in perfect condition...  So I ordered two with such pleasure indeed...

They are so pretty to me, I really love them...  And I love my teapot by Hall...  Its has a chip on the end of the spout but I don't mind...  Everything else is perfect...  I didn't barely pay anything.  Nope not everything can be perfect all the time...  So I accept it with its imperfections...
      Love the handle design...

In the Garden...  The gladiolus are blooming lovely...  Wish I had gotten in my other bulbs...

The tomato plants are growing strong..  I put egg shells in the bottom when I first planted them, they said its good for them..  Seems to be they are healthy. Full of blooms and day before I saw little tiny tomatoes...
The other side is doing good now I had to replant but I put seeds in little pots inside the little glass house first so they could get bigger and the slugs couldn't eat them up, so far so good.  I also started putting egg shell around the plants because they said the slugs dont like to crawl over them..  Hopefully it works too...
My mint is growing well...  I adore mint..  I have different ones,...
This one is strawberry mint and it smells like strawberries..  This one is new...from last summer..
I added a ginger one and it is just coming up...  I have pineapple, chocolate, orange, apple...  Love my Garden dearly...  Yesterday I watched the little well one big bird take a bath in the little bird bath then a little guy came and he played in it...  Then this morning the sill raccoons knocked it over... Their back and they dugg up some of my ground cover again and made bald spots all over ugh..  Busy little creatures, I don't mind them in the garden, but, I do mind them destroying my things...    Maybe I will leave the bird bath empty for a couple of days..
Well I think thats all for now, wish you all a most lovely weekend...  Im staying home to clean my living room,  laundry is done everything else is good.  But livingroom needs a refreshing..  Happy Weekend with love Janice..
