Sunday..Tea in the Garden...........

It's was a lovely Sunday afternoon in the Garden..I started out to clean up and I did just that... But as the time past my tummy started letting me know it wanted something to eat.. and since I had cleaned the area in the back under the tree.. and the sun was shinning..I though humm I should have Tea and a sandwhich in the Garden...I'd would have been silly crazy to pass the wonderful day up...

So I went inside in the linen closet and pulled out a wonderful Red and Yellow vintage Table cloth, and a couple of Red and White checkered place mats My new Angel tray, My Bumble Bee Tea Pot and Cup and Saucer... Grabbed a vintage yellow plate and a few other things...I made a Egg Salad sandwhich and Grabbed some Hot chips which I love to eat..and to me they went well with the Egg Salad. Put on the Water Kettle while I was getting things ready..Grabbed my Tray and off I went to the Garden after I made the Tea....

I haven't used this Table cloth in forever and have been waiting for the opportunity to do so...It's brite and sunny and cheery... Dont' you think???

I love Red and Yellow together... I made this one part of the Garden with vintage Yellow Flower Pots and bought one Red one. And I have a couple of lite green ones...
I painted the little round table with Yellow spray paint and the Chair Black...
I had the chair forever at Mom's house so I finally brought it home last year lol painted half and ran out of paint..finally got around to finishing it up Sunday morning..

I have always loved this Chair, I remember finding it on Dad's truck..It was a rust ole white..and I loved it, I love all the swirls..It looks so fancy... but I wanted to change it last year..inspired by this Pillow I found at a second hand store.

The pillow is just full of color, can you see it to the left...though my seat cushion has gotten faded this year..I will have to be on the look out for a new one or maybe I will recover this one..good idea..sometimes I use pillow case covers..
Aren't these pretty...they were mixed when I bought them...
I adore my Bumble bee Tea Pot the Cups and Saucers as well..
I just need to find the Sugar bowl and Creamer...
I love the cone look....... underneath is a vintage Yellow and White pot holder...
I spent the whole day running about in the Garden cleaning things up. I think I got it all done...
If the wind would just stop blowing I would be very happy...
I'm already tired of cleaning up leaves...they make me silly crazy..!!!
I filled this little guy with tiny flowers from around the Garden for the table...sweet..I always knew he had a place in my life..he'd been sitting in a box in the storage..what a great time to come out...
Vintage Flower Pots...

It was a most lovely afternoon in the Garden...I enjoyed it very much and was very happy the Garden was all clean now..
I hope that you enjoyed your visit.
with love Janice...

  5. Hi Janice, I love your vintage tea, but that makes sense because I love all things vintage too :) I'm glad you got out to have tea in the garden. Here in Vancouver, when I am right now, we've had a few lovely afternoons and I tell you, I'm out in that garden like a shot. Have a great day in San Francisco, one of my favorite places to visit.
