Red Hat Society...I'm a member and so excited...

I have joined the Red Hat Ladies, I'm so bored with my life and I thought it would be nice to meet some ladies in my area as well as different parts of the world...I think they are just what the doctor ordered.

I can see myself as a Red Hat Lady with no problem...I love love Red and I love love Purple...Now I have the notion to make some red and purple doily's go figure...I'm very excited about it all. I have already made some new friends, and very helpful ladies. One is Cynthia and the other Red Hat lady is Georgean Kruger, the chapter is called Zippity Do Dahs, a very sweet lady...lovely ladies and I'm so proud to become one of them...

So from this day forward I will be a Red Hat Lady wearing Red and Purple...I have some things but will start having to purchase more..I should receive my first red hat soon..and I can't wait for it to get here.
I want to buy a thick Purple Ribbon to put on it and maybe something else...I have raised five children and have no man husband etc...so I think it's my time to live my life and not live it for everyone else anymore...

I'm 54 and I need a new life...ready set here I go...

Good morning dear friend, It's sunny out with this weird coolness and a mild fog that is stretch out across the skies...Just simply silly in my opinion. Well I'm at Mom's this morning she needs to run over to the bank and handle some business. Then I will be back home...I miss sweetpea, and feel just horrible ever time I have to leave her there but Mom's house it just to much and I have to tell myself that she is better off at home...But any how I finished my blue and white star doily I'm just stuck on this star for some reason...and I'm really really loving the blue multi colored thread, the colors of blue are just so pretty...I'm definitely ready to make my next doily, but I will have to go pick up some thread.. cause I decided to do it with this Multi blue thread...I just love it...

The blues are brite and cheery to me....

I can't wait to get started on my huge pineapple doily...I'm very excited and I hope that I can accomplish it...

Good Afternoon, A new Hammered Tray...and Tea

I love sunny afternoons and mornings in my Kitchen window, I love all my blue glass. Last week on Friday, Me and Mom went to the Good will and I found some wonderful things, One was this pretty hammered round tray.

It reminds me of my great aunt Vera, she had this hammered candy dish that sat on her coffee table in the living room, I must have been like five or so...but it stuck in my mind.

The handles are lovely with swirls I just love them. It also has a flower on the inside that goes around the tray...

Such pretty engraved flowers all the way around...I couldn't get a good enough picture...So well last night I set up my tray for morning Tea so when I woke up I found my pretty tray with my little blue Tea Pot and my new 1926 Tea Cup...

I just love it and was so glad to have found it...exciting to me...
I also found a mosaic piece a large bowl...I just love it it was only four bucks...

My tiny little pitcher, It's from Holland...I have a few little pieces that I like so I will be adding this to my collection...
