Just sitting here doing some embroidery and thinking about church last night and how amazing these two young men were, who read scripture and how they broke it down and gave a good understanding and examples etc... I bet they were barely 20. But they did a fine job and were very uplifting. This is a new journey for me. A different church style and all and I'm loving it and feeling on a positive note...
I found this printed dresser scarve on ebay for about $4 dollars.. These are my color choices...
Lots of blues and aqua light yellow white and brown...
Here is the design, a basket full of sweet flowers....
Theres no directions and I'm not sure what the flowers are so I'm doing my own...
I have decided to do the baseket in aqua.. And maybe the handle in brown and the rim and botton piece...
I really in a aqua zone, though I have always loved it. Mamas kitchen had aqua trim and there are piece still there that they didn't tear out.. I love blues as well. So in my head I have been trying to think how I would like to paint mamas kitchen if I ever get to that point.. But I believe with Gods help I will..
I collected a lot of turquoise pyrex that I keep at mamas house, I think I made mention of this before..
These are some recent cooking utensils that I found... I have a ladle in aqua and I have two other pieces but there in pink... I was so very happy when I found these... And the price wasn't to off the wall...
The syrup depenser I got last year.. So cute"... I love all the old fifties things..
This piece I just found too, so lovely aqua cross stitching... It's a runner
These two pieces came together...
Such beauty, the aqua looks stunning with the blue. Love the table runner.

I really love your aqua, I even find myself, picking a bit up here and there. And I already have had aqua pyrex since I was first married. Great post, showing all the vintage and the lost of art of embroidery too. Love your vintage linens too. Sandi
ReplyDeleteAqua and blues make a lovely color combination.
ReplyDeleteYou make me want to embroider again. My mother used to embroider a lot. I have some beautiful pillowcases she did before she died. Maybe I could put them on my blog. Your aqua things are so pretty.
