The day of rest

Do you know or realize that Sunday is the day of rest.
The Sabbath... In Exodus 20:8. Remember the sabbath day, keep it holy...   Keep it sacred.
Verse 9 says you are to labor and do all your work for the six days....  I have been trying to focus on this..  Because it is a comand from God...
Verse 10 says but the seventh day is a sabbath day to God, Your God.  You must not do any work, neither you nor your son nor your daughter nor your slave man nor your slave girl nor your domestic animal nor your foreign resident who is inside your settlements.
( a vintage wooden tray make in the usa.  I've had for about thirty years )
( It is becoming very chippy )
( The flowers are amazing )
( My Yellow rose tea cup by,  Royal Albert, made in England )

Verse 11...  For the six days God made the heavens and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and he began to rest on the seventh day.  That is why God blessed the Sabbath day and made it sacred.
( Enjoy your day of rest, make it in honor of God make it holy and sacred, with love Janice )

Here we are again, it's Monday...

Good mornin,  I actually think that here in San Francisco,  it is going to be a beautiful summer day..   Shhhhh, dont let the wind know...  I don't want him to hear because I don't want him to visit today...  He is such a bother, hehehe...  Shhhh...
I stepped out into my messy garden which isn't doing so great..  I seem to have some poor soil still on one side everything that started out great in the little glass house it grew a tiny then just got stuck... I added booster dirt to it twice..  My tomatoes on the other side are huge but one is full of bugs everyday I smash a bunch, yuk I know...  And this morning a bunch of white flies...  Ugh !!! And they are on my purple ones...
There are several lady bugs on it, but their not fast enough..  Do you see the yellow piece of leaf, they are trying to suck the life out of them..  I'm so upset...
This one right next to it is doing good, phew thank goodness...
The apples are growing great from the garden next store, there are tons on the garden floor... It makes me sad they people have fruit trees and just let them waste all over the floor..  I have picked up bunches on my side going to make a pie today or tomorrow...
This year they have grown quite big the first years I was here they were small.  Hopefully it is due to me watering them this past year...  I didn't set a tea tray today just got a new cup out that I haven't used yet with violets...  It is quite lovely...  It is Bone China by, Royal Vale, from England...

I love Violets I have some in the garden, which have bloomed already...  This year I discovered that they have these seeds that they make...  Which I never knew...  I actually didn't even realized Violets grew here in San Francisco...  Your never to old to learn things, and not everyone knows everything nor are they exposed to everything...

Broken china teacups, placed them in the garden instead of throwing them out...

I love when flowers appear out of cracks like this one..  Lobelia has tiny seeds and will blow in the wind all over...  Last year they blew dark purple everywhere in the garden..  .  Well Mr. Wind I guess you are good on some occasions...  Shhhh. But don't tell him so ok....
Today, I won't be joining any parties.  Bernideen has stopped here Monday Party and Sandi is having company..  So no more Monday Parties...    So just me today...
Wishing you all a most lovely day...    With love Janice

Ready for the day... Friday's chatter

Are you ready for this day, I'am.  This week was such a productive week I actually got some things done..  Yay me..  Some days it is so hard to do anything.  I have panic disorder which some of you may remember.  And though my attacks aren't as often as in the beginning I still struggle with it.  But what comes along with it is depression, and I think it is because you can not be your whole self like before.  But I have learn to cope with the most of it.  With panic disorder it is hard to deal with commotion and drama.  So me I avoid many things...  But there are days that I sit on my couch don't get anything done and I just get stuck.  I have to fight with myself to get up and think positive...  So times it takes a minute or two,  other days I can jump up and say I'm off this..  And sometimes I can do many things but not phone calls, even a simple task of paying a bill over the phone...  Before this panic disorder came into my life I never had a problem doing a thing.  But with much prayer and help from God and Jesus I believe I have concord much of these issues.  He has lessoned the full blown panic attacks.  I thank them both for being by my side everyday.  Panic disorder is a ugly thing to bare and especially alone...  There is a bible verse that a sister showed me years ago when I was first really sick with this panic.  I don't re call what verse, but I do remember her telling me that he does not take it completely away but he can subside it for you, which means make it bearable and manageable and he has done that....  Amen...  So today feel like a good day...though there's no sun shinning I feel it anyway's upon my heart and I'm grateful...  I'm so grateful for the things he has taught me and given to me....
Today I'm sharing my favorite teapot.  A Johnson Bros...  From England...  I love love this teapot and started collecting these pieces several years ago.  I fell upon them on a blog that does't exsit anymore.  There was never a name associated with the photos but it was instant love...
I'm not even sure how I found them.  I think I stumbled across some pieces later at a goodwill which I left behind because they were with grazing, ha, I could just smack myself about it...  And it was forever till I found this teapot.  The original pattern I saw was the teacup one...  The woman whos blog I saw them on she had the whole set given to her.  It was her granmother's.  It is reversed meaning the aqua is just on the trim,  but since they were so difficult to find I grabbed up the teapot because I loved that big band of aqua around it and those pretty flowers of spring...

It is just so beautiful to me, fresh air...
A bouquet on the front as well.....
                        The teacup just as lovely.....
A pretty saucer, just makes your heart warm all over and makes you smile...  I often wonder who owned this before and what were they like and what did they talk about over this teapot or teacup...

Tea is ready...  I only have two teacups and saucers so far, as I said these are so very hard to find....
This is a new piece that I recently found.  The same pattern as the teapot, it is in perfect condition...
Awe just look at those spring flowers and that beautiful aqua band...

I have aquired two different sets but they match just as well...  Yesterday when I was taking photos I dropped a square luncheon plate, and broke it into many pieces, my heart almost couldn't take it...  So now I'm one less hopefully I can replace it...
This is a dinner plate.  Actually I have three different patterns...
The square luncheon plate/ salad plate...
                       Wide soup bowls....
                       Cereal bowls....

A small bread and butter dish which I only have one of...  And it matches the dinner plate...
They make me breathless....  I also have the little berriy bowls...

The tip of the gravy boat, tiny little flowers....

Well it is off to accomplish something else today...  I finally finished my doily which I will feature on my crocheting blog.. .  @ beedoily.blogspot.com   drop by and see..  Wishing you all a lovely Friday and a beautiful weekend, with love....  Janice
