Saturday morning chatter...

Good morning dearest,  hope this morning finds you happy and content.  I'm just happy with some sunshine and no wind...  Look at what I found online for a very cheap price..  I was surprise and no shipping fee can you believe that.  Usually if it is cheap the shipping gets you, but there wasn't any...  I been waiting for years and years for this teapot my aunt had this whole set of Franciscan china...  And I had always admired it...  I would think maybe one day..  But as time went on and five babies came along I forgot about it for the most...  Maybe once in a long while It would cross my mind but in those days there was no online...  Just the second hand stores and flea market.  But, at that time I didn't collect teapots...  I was busy collecting my ducks which I still love.  My second set of dishes were my dish set of ducks that I collected from safeway, as you bought groceries you won points to buy the pieces at a cheaper price..  I still have those dishes today and all my duck pieces I love them till this very day...
Before the teapot about a week ago I found this sugar bowl for 4$....  It's funny how things come about..  My oldest daughter always says mama you always have that luck...  And it is funny cause I always have to bad I didn't have it in different parts of my life...  But it's true I have always found pieces that I wanted for cheap sooner or later...
The first piece I ever found was the creamer for like 1.49$. In perfect condition at a second hand store...  And that was several years ago...  Then a teacup and saucer...

The only thing is the flower on the teapot is quite lighter, but I really don't mind at all,  I'm
just happy to have found her... Other than that she is perfect...  It was only 22.00 with no shipping fees so basic shipping is at least 12.00$ so I paid 10.00$ pretty much...  Very nice of this lady...
This is funny I had posted about this several post back that the two shakers I had found were off
in their colors they didn't quite match, right after that post we went to thrift town and I found
One that matched for 59cents... Just no stopper in the bottom...  So now I have three...

So now I can have tea with a friend...  I have one lucheon plate I need one more if I was to have
lunch or a few treats so I guess I could look for a couple of bread plates...
As you can see I finally finished my Frida blanket and my pillow to match...  49 large squares...
I simply love it...  So happy with the results...  My sweetpea yesterday kept trying to crunch it up
to sleep in it...  So I'm going to have to make her a little blankie cause I don't want her to tear it up...scratching at it. Chi's do funny things to their spot or blanket she does a whole dance lol before
she curls up and lays down...
The pillow to match...  I still have one more pillow to finish...
I even just for fun made a matching hanger...
                             A BIT FROM THE GARDEN...
The baby daisy's are popping up all over...  They came from seeds from last years plants they are always a lovely surprise...
Little deep purple pansy's.  Just popped up...
The pretty Geranium,  I love the strong color....
        Beautiful color...
Camila flowers all over the floor ...  The tree is over full with blooms...

From the Garden to the dinning table...
Did you know that sage plants make a beautiful purple bud...  I have some here but they are
hard to see...  But they are very pretty...

I love little crystal vases and candle stick holders...  These are all from Goodwill in different areas...  Some of them still had there stickers on them that they were crystal..  But amazinly they were dirt cheap..  Go figure...
Have a lovely, lovely day and weekend my dearest driends...  Going to hang out laundry and
Pittle around in the Garden...
                       With love,
                               Janice....

  1. I Love the blanket and pillow such vibrant colours it is stunning. I also admired the hangar such a lovely idea for it all to match so beautifully. The weather today was abysmal so no garden work for me. Take care.
