The first morning was so lovely I had my first tea in the garden... And thought I really need to
get my seeds in... It is way past due, because of the ugly weather... Hers's My golden opportunity...
I took out my my Yellow Chintz teapot that came from England I so love the lady for shipping it to me... She normally did not ship to the states... And everytime I think of it she sent me the teapot a
Creamer and Sugar for 29.00 dollars. It warms my heart to know that there are still kind people in this world... A dream come true...
I wanted this pot since 1994 when this version came out... I would see it in the Victoria magazines... I would dream but could not afford it and at that time I did not know much about
teapots or I was not really really into them like now, but I surely have developed a love for them
now...
Since I do not have a tea cup that matches I picked my rich Blue & White Willow cup from
Japan which I love as well...
Then I picked some tiny flowers and put them in Mamas little crystal vase...
A pretty White Rose through the fence...
I have switched the garden around a bit... They say it is good to change the areas of your vegetables each year...
I changed this part a bit...
I put the lattices here to put my green beans and cucumbers, let's hope it work's...
I planted seed's here, radishes, green onion's, beet's, ice burg lettuce, just a little bit because
It will be just me who eat's them... I washed up my little oval bird bath and moved it here to... Last year the darn raccoon's kept making it dirty, lol maybe they won't see it here... Haha...
That is the other side of the garden I planted the tomato's there and I will put the zucchini
there too. I planted the zucchini seed's in small planter's in the little hot house... I get a lot of icky slug's and they will eat them up before they grow high enough...
The apple tree in next stores garden... The apple's are forming already...
I like the fact that it hang's over into my garden...
My broken teapot, this year I planted seeds in it...
The ground is wet now and as I'm finishing writing the rain came poring down...

ReplyDeleteDear Janice,
ReplyDeleteI am not a blogger, but I do enjoy reading blogs. Your garden looks lovely, I see how much work & love is put into it. I also love to garden & love seeing what others are doing. I love your yellow chintz tea pot! Have a lovely day.

Lovely blog post. I have the yellow tea pot too. My hubby bought it for me when it was issued by Victoria. I love it too.
ReplyDeleteYour gardens are so darn cute and oh, I do love your embroidery work.
Much love to you,
Linda
Your beautiful chintz pot is so lovely! What a real treasure! And your gardens are simply beautiful!
ReplyDeleteOh Janice, your yellow chintz teapot is such a beauty, and I love it on the tea tray with your blue Willow teacup. I like the mix and match of different pretty things to add such a pretty interest. Your garden is looking so good from all your hard work. Your embroidery is so pretty, too. You sure keep busy with those lovely hands of yours!
ReplyDeleteOh Janice. How incredibly lovely your garden is! Oh, I LOVE it. And that chintz teapot? Just gorgeous. SO HAPPY for you! Thanks, too, for your sweet visits. Love them. Susan
ReplyDeleteLove that gorgeous chintz teapot and the setting surrounded with flowers from your lovely own well taken cared garden.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your sweet visit.

Love the pretty yellow chintz teapot, Janice! I also liked how your repurposed your broken teapot into a flower pot. Yesterday, I had to scrape frost off my car windows. I'm so out of shape that my arms felt sore afterwards. Ha!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet little garden...I have to laugh at your racoon comment. Our little fisherboy/girl pond is nirvana for the the racoons. They drag clams up from the lake two blocks away smash them on the concrete and wash them in the pond. I have little footprints everywhere and clam shells...LOL.
ReplyDeleteLovely post---I just finished one...A Year in our Garden, because its so ugly here-now!
Thanks for the sweet shot of Spring, Sandi
This post is so lovely it makes me want to be a better, more productive person. I have not embroidered for years. Your pillow cases are giving me the inspiration to get out my old sewing case and get busy.
