Well, good morning dearest, It's that time again to share lovely things with you... Here is a
Small doily I finished over the weekend... I had the original for a while now and for some reason it seemed complicated at first I din't think it to be when I first found it thrifting. But some time later
when I attempted to start it I got stuck, it may have just been me, lol... But at any rate I figured it
out... And here is the finished product...
I thought it would be a nice face for a round pillow...
One of the first tea cups I believe I ever found thrifting with Mama.... It is very sweet with
roses... From Japan... It's hard to see but I think it is called Royal Sealy China...
I have had it for a very long time now...
I like it under my new doily...
Vintage pillows.... Which this one I bought from a dear lady friend on Facebook...
One of my most favorites...
Little flowers from the Garden.....
I hope you enjoyed your visit....

Janice what a beautiful doily, as you say it makes a stunning embellishment for a cushion. Love the vintage cushions you have brought they certainly are a real delight. The vibrancy of the cup/saucer are wonderful. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteDear Janice:
ReplyDeleteYou did such a nice job taking these photos and staging your doily. The cup and saucer are really pretty and I have seen that maker too when turning them over in antique malls, etc. I hope you have a lovely week and thank you for your sweet comments, linking and sharing.
I do love hand crocheted treasures...just lovely! And the teacup is so pretty and made some lovely photo vignettes.

Janice, my dear, your images are all just lovely. The teacup with the pretty doily, flowers and pillows, are all a delight to the eyes! A scrumptious posting for us all to enjoy. Thank you for sharing with us and have a beautiful day.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
Lovely doily for a lovely teacup! I've always admired Japanese lustrewares.
ReplyDeleteVery unique combination...with a just a bit of bohemian lurking around the edges. Love the contrasts! Thanks, Sandi
ReplyDeleteYou are so talented, Janice! I Love your pretty crocheted piece and your teacup has special memories, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteAlso, in your previous post, how lucky it was for you to find the Fransican Desert Rose teapot to match your other pieces! My late Great Aunt Kitty had the Desert Rose pattern, but I didn't inherit any of it. However, it's your crocheted blanket, matching pillow and hanger that I'm totally swooning over!!
The doily, the tea cup, the pillows, the flowers are stunning and very romantic
