One of my first ever teapots... And I love it to death.. Pansy's are one on my weaknesses I can't resist them... Though for some silly reason the nursery hasn't had many and none even like years back the lovely colors and combos I found...
I wanted something cheerful.. The summer has ended but it still feels as if it's lingering on. Like I had mention lately my part of San Francisco had no summer... So I'm hanging on to these warms days...
I used my newer violet teaset I love violets as well and have some in the garden. .. And recently I learned like nasturtiums they have a pod that you can re plant...
Just my regular Lipton decafe tea is used.. I don't care for flowery teas.. Most teas are to strong for my taste...
Isn't this such a lovely pattern....
I also love lobelia. Just love love it... I have several spots around the garden with it... I had more in the begininng of spring but they have come to seed as well. I believe I mentioned this also, their seeds will fly around and they must be the tinest and will set.. There are a few in the cement cracks around..
This is new that sprouted from it's own seeds....
So nice to enjoy a cup of tea in the sun with such a lovely teaset. Pansies and violets are favorites of mine too, this is a gorgeous teapot.

ReplyDeleteHow lovely to enjoy a refreshing cup of tea from such a wonderful teapot in the sun. The pansies are a delight. Take care.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I love violets too and they were one of my Mother's favorite flowers. Your teapots and cups are just beautiful.
ReplyDeleteVery Sweet, I had a Great-Grandmother (long dead before I was born) partial to pansies, and I have quite a few pieces from her. Very sweet, and to her pansy teapot, patiently glued together that had been in a bunch of pieces. I will have to do a post of an ode to pansies, and Tia Mor, Ane Marie. Thanks for the quick reminisce. Sandi and the great post idea, LOL.
ReplyDeleteLoving your beautiful teaset and those pretty bright blue flowers. No matter what I plant, I seem to get too little flowers and too much greenery. Will try again next year.
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty pictures Janice. A lovely teapot and teacup as well. Lobelia is a lovely dainty flower I think. Have a lovely day,
