Friday Chatter...

Hi everyone...  Just here at home hanging out.  Our weather here in San Francisco has been
ugly windy again, I don't like it...  So today I just took random photos of the Garden...
Well I guess it started in the kitchen my baby roses opened up and the Pink Geraniums...

My little daisies are opening up too...  I love daisies I was just thinking I need a big bush of them so I can cut them for inside...
See my light Blue Hydreageous the blooms are coming I can't wait I love Hydreageous I have
several in the garden two in the planters...
I think these are so cute they make these sweet little lilac flowers...
I was trying to capture ms bee she is on the darker purple flowers... You can barely see her...
This is a type of ground cover makes these little pink snow balls... So sweet...
Strawberries are blooming I have already had three strawberries...
      I love age wood pieces...
This will make this fushia purplish color flowers...
This one is yellow a bit different I bought them last summer...
The huge fig tree leaning over I love it...  I'm glad this year they didn't trim it back...

No visitors yet...  Maybe one day...

      The Camelia tree trunk...
Nasturtiums coming out...  I remember one year at mama's when I had been gone for a couple
Of years the whole garden was covered in them...  I had planted some when I lived there and they
make their own pods and will drop in the ground a produce over and over...  I wish I had a photo to show you...

The little wall planters are coming alive now...
It is so much fun to watch it all come alive...

My little hot house I call it...  I cracked the roof the top, it slipped out of my hand and slammed
down and broke the glass it is still attached though...  So now I have to get it repaired, darn...
But see my garden inside...  It is in there because silly slugs and snails eat everything up... just
like the new seeds I planted they ate some of the new sprouts that were coming out, so mad this morning.  I guess they came in the night...

This year I used egg shells to plant in...  I washed them let them sit and dry for a couple of
weeks...  Then filled them carefully with dirt and put the seeds in them...  Kept the egg box to keep
them in and wrote on the lid what they were...  Fun. My grandson Isaiah was like wow grandma
eggs...  He was thrilled...  Me too I never did it before and always wanted to...
These are my Mothers Day flowers from my oldest son and his wife and my little granddaughter
Yuliana,  she brought a note for me too...  Her mom said it was her own idea...  Though It is not readable it is the most presious thing when they do things like that...
Such pretty Roses...   Well ladies it is the weekend again, the days just are flying by...  we are already half way through May and it had just started...

I made fried chicken night before for my daughter and grandsons...  I haven't fried chicken in forever sure do miss it...
Have a most enchanting weekend, we are going to have a family picnic on Sunday...
                          With love...
                                 Janice....

  5. Your flowers are looking so beautiful, Janice, and I love your little hot house, filled with new, little plants.
I also read your post on your Mama. What a loving tribute that was. I know you miss her, but she is your angel, watching over you.
Have a happy Sunday picnic! Love and hugs are sent to you.

  6. It is so nice to see your blooms in your garden. We are still having some freezing temps here off and on. Soon people will be filling their yards with flower boxes and adding some beautiful colored flowers. We are new to our home and I look forward to see what blooms I will find outside.

  8. What a pretty tour of your garden Janice and such lovely flowers. Your roses are delicate and sweet. My flowers are in delay this year. Winter was brutal to the garden this year so I hope my flowers will bloom at some point. I hope you had a wonderful Mother's day. Your fried chicken looks amazing.

    Wishing you a great week,

    Janet
