Red Hat Society...I'm a member and so excited...

I have joined the Red Hat Ladies, I'm so bored with my life and I thought it would be nice to meet some ladies in my area as well as different parts of the world...I think they are just what the doctor ordered.
I can see myself as a Red Hat Lady with no problem...I love love Red and I love love Purple...Now I have the notion to make some red and purple doily's go figure...I'm very excited about it all. I have already made some new friends, and very helpful ladies. One is Cynthia and the other Red Hat lady is Georgean Kruger, the chapter is called Zippity Do Dahs, a very sweet lady...lovely ladies and I'm so proud to become one of them...
So from this day forward I will be a Red Hat Lady wearing Red and Purple...I have some things but will start having to purchase more..I should receive my first red hat soon..and I can't wait for it to get here.
I want to buy a thick Purple Ribbon to put on it and maybe something else...I have raised five children and have no man husband etc...so I think it's my time to live my life and not live it for everyone else anymore...
I'm 54 and I need a new life...ready set here I go...

  4. This sounds like fun. I've seen red hat ladies at various functions and they always look so elegant.
My aunt that lives in Florida started a chapter with her 2 daughters and a couple of their friends.
Can't wait to see your new red and purple attire.

  9. Hi Janice,
Well I'm excited for you. I hope you have lots of fun. I wanted to wish you a happy mother's day and didn't get to it in time, so I am writing to say I hope you had a nice mother's day. I'm still really excited about my crocheted dress, I can't wait till I can get it. I know it will be so beautiful, you have so much talent. I'm hoping that the end of this month I can do it because I might have a little work lined up to make a little pin money!
    Hugs,
    Julie
