Determined to finish Baby Yuliana's Blanket...

Well isn't this just silly, I started making my youngest granddaughter Yuliana a blanket before she was born and I never finished. I ran out of yarn and then money cause I was doing the Baby Shower so I just couldn't get it finished. Then I had to wait for the yarn to come in cause the store ran out...Then I just forgot about it all with all that goes on. Well lit ms Yuliana is going to one year old next month June 2, I can't even believe a whole year has flown by...So I have the yarn and I'm just determined to get it finished for her birthday.
I had picked white and this multi color yarn with lt. yellow and lt. green and white. Because we had no clue what the baby was going to be..
I was almost finished when I ran out of yarn, and had to wait to get more...well I thought the other day o m gosh, she is going to be a year old...I jumped up and went in the closet and pulled it out and got busy..I got up at 6:30 am and continue the 7 squares more I needed to make so I have 3 left to do when I go home later and by tomorrow, I have three more squares to make then I can start to assemble the rest of it and have it done for her B-Day...
Course I will have to add a little bit more on to the edging to make it a little bit larger, but I don't mind. I noticed this morning my African Violet has bloomed again...It really likes this south window.
I need to move my others there because they aren't doing so good in other parts of the house...well I think thats it for today. O maybe not...I have bad news today, my bible teacher has had a stroke I learned this today on Saturday. she is around 86 years of age. So if you have a brief moment please say a pray for her recovery. I understand it was pretty strong and she will be going to a home to receive therapy.. her husband is at home and hadn't been doing so well his self. They are both very dedicated sister and brother in God's house..I have know them most of my life. I'm very glad to have her as a bible teacher she has helped me through my many struggle...I will be praying as well for her recovery...with love Janice...Have a wonderful week...
