When the snail makes holes in your seed packets...

Well good morning to you..  A while back ago I went to get some seeds out from the little shed and I found this icky fat snail in one of the plastic bags, that I apparently forgot to close...  She ate through a bunch of the seed packets..  Which surprised me totally.  I never knew snails ate paper..I was so mad..  So I got rid of her...  And took out the packets and many of them had holes all over and the seeds where fallin out and mixing up...  So a few days back I decided to fix that and I thought what could I put all these tiny seeds in..  Envelopes, nope thats way to big for a tiny pinch of seeds and a waste.  So I came up with the idea to make some kind of packet with sticky notes.
I thought I would use one of my little rose boxes to keep them in...  I love pretty boxes and pretty seed packets...

I cut one and glued inside the bottom of the box to make it more pretty...

Then I got the blue sticky notes, I took two and put them togetherand made a tiny packet...

Here is one of the packets she ate up silly snail...  My pretty loves in a mist...
I actually cut and attacheted the cover to the tiny packet so I know what they are...  This was fun to do and kept me busy and entertained for a spell...

I had several to do...  SHe also chewed this lemon cucmber packet quite well so I left most of it like that and glued it on to the tiny packet I made...

I even made a packet for the chive seeds that come about from the purple flowers that bloom, they hold a bunch of seeds inside.  This year I cut them off after a while and took the seeds out.

All done, it was fun, thanks ms snail... Hehehe ...  Silly snail..
Now for tea,  see you soon..  Have a fabulous Thursday, with love Janice

  8. Ciao Janie,
alla fine quella lumaca ti ha dato da fare,
però è venuto un bel lavoretto e i tuoi semi
adesso sono al sicuro nella loro bella scatolina.
