I tried to get this post out yesterday but it just didn't happen.. So here I'am working on it now... This is a table cloth that I found years ago on my Dad's truck, for those of you who don't know my dad had a busniess where he cleaned estates etc... And most times before he went to the dumps he would come by and let me look through the truck.. And most of the times I would find vintage items and much of it I sold at flea markets side walk sales... This cloth I kept for me but never got to use it... It has been in storage for years.. And now at mamas house and I have finally dragged it out brought it home to wash by hand of course... It is so pretty... I believe it is French lace as they call it...
It is quite lovely, in the middle area it is solid cloth and surrounded then by the lace. In perfect condtion... It has one tiny like a rust stain.. Not sure that I can get it out.. But it is very small so if I can't i can handle it...
This such fine works...
I'm ready for a teatime table perhaps in the garden if the silly weather would corporate... It's like lite winter out there I don't know what is going on...
Another pretty lace piece...
I love Ivory and lite Pinks... So pretty...
A sweet book by Susan Branch, Love From The Heart of the Home... A lovely little book great for Valentine's Day...
A little peak inside, I love all of Susan illustrations, they captured my soul for sure...
Haha even a love potion.. .
And a all chocolate menu... Yummm. You should pick one up for yourself...
Enjoy your day today my dearest, I'm off to the world to pick up some good things I hope...
With love ... .. . .

What a beautiful lace table cloth, hope you manage to get the little mark out. I also loved the little tray cloth, beautiful. Take care.
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely lace, Janice. Love the little tray piece! You must have had fun going through your father's truck load of cast-offs. I think you probably found many treasures doing that. Have a lovely day and thank you for sharing.

Oh my, Janice, the lace is so fine and delicate, and I just love anything lacy. The lace on your tray is so pretty, too, with all your teacups and your teapot. I like Susan Branch, too, and have her Autumn book, but I'd like to have more of her books.
