The sun came back ....

So happy the sun has returned...  It was a delight to go back in the garden today.  There is so much to do but I just can not do it all anymore so a little here and a little there...
The little petunias are blooming already, their color is pretty rich and deep...

I was going to buy some more petunias but I decided I have a lot of seeds so I should just put some in the planter in the empty spaces...

I'm so excited my little snow ball tree is coming back and has even made some tiny snow balls...  Just love it.  The tiny one is making leaves but no snow balls...  So they survived...  Yay !!!
This was a big plant one the side of the storage shed.  That went dry...  I took a piece that was green stuck it in a pot and it is growing...
My Blue bearded Iris has bunch of blooms hooray...  I hope the other one blooms this year too, will see what happens the leaves are coming out strong so maybe...

             Deep dark purple pansy's....
These I forgot the name as always but I had them at Mama's house and brought some home a few years ago...  It is growing strong too..  Soon the flowers will open to purple.

The neighbors fig tree it comes over the fence and I love it...
       Wild flowers and daisys...
More blooms on the Jasmine smells so good...

My spider plant that my friend Tita gave me last year, growing well made babies...
The berry bush coming through the back fence...
The lemon tree is full of lemons...  Have to get a chair to get them...
And the slit from my little rose bush at Mama's is growing well maybe will get some blooms this year....
The little bundle of flowers from the garden

A some eggs I made this afternoon just fooling around...
Have a wonderful evening,  with love Janice

  1. Dear Janice:
I can't decide what I like best - the lemon tree or the eggs. I think both. The very idea of having your own lemon tree is positively amazing. I do love your sweet eggs you made. They are so cute. All your plants are so lovely! Happy EAster!

  2. I am enthralled with your beautiful lemon tree, what a delight. I would be making lemon curd all the time with a tree like that, wonderful. Loved the eggs too, lovely pastel colours. Have a wonderful Easter.

  3. Your garden looks so nice. I haven't been able to do much in mine since we still dip into the 30 degree range occasionally at night here in northwestern Arkansas. I want to put more teacup and such around in my garden too like I see in yours. Will you be including instructions for crocheting the eggs on your crochet blog?

  4. Wow! You have so much growing in your garden. Beautiful flowers! I would love to have jasmine, but I don't think it's a hardy plant here. The flower you are unsure of is Columbine (from your mother's house). It will self seed if you leave the flower heads to dry up. If you cut the dead heads off, the flowers will die off in about three years (something I read). I have them all over my garden. I like to cut off the dried up heads with the seeds in them and just shake out the seeds onto the ground and throw the flower heads into the compost.
