I have been busy working on my granny square blanket I so love it and I have been wanting to make this blanket for several years but didn't have the chance to do so... But I finely was able to start... I crocheted 42 beautiful large squares full of color, just here and there no real preference on it...
I haven't used yarn in a while, probably three years ago when I made my grandson Isaiah's baby blanket... When he was sitting with me in bed in the evening and he is always talking I'm explaining to him that I'am making a blanket and I told him I made him one already and He looked me like where is it at... Go ask mommie I told him, so he did but, it was do for a wash so the next morning it got washed and dried... My daughter gave it to him so for a couple of days he had his self wrapped up in it..
Teatime, all this time I haven't used my Greengate teapot, so I thought it was high time that I did...
I truly want to buy a Greengate teacup but I have to wait on it... There is one that I have my eyes on...
It really speaks spring.. Lovely roses and butterflies...
Sweet delicate flowers...
A sweet Homer Laughlin Fiesta teacup and saucer...
It was such a beautiful day and I felt wonderful and why not feel more wonderful with a lovely teapot and teacup, pretty linens and some pretty crochet... These days this is my place and way of feeling good...
And some Romantic Country to top it off when you get tired of crocheting full of lovely Ideas and pretty photos...
I love the Turquoise touches... Dreamin... Thinking...
Totally vintage... When I see things like this I wish I had magic to blink mama's house into beautiful faster style... We are still cleaning it 's been a slow process we've been kind of on hold due to other issues but this oast weekend we did do some cleaning and you really can see progress in the basement finally... But there is still probably half to go... I know one day I will bet there with God's help...
I love love this living room... I could not get a good picture but it's light and airy, and I'm really thinking I want this for Mama's house... Well similar...
Yesterday, me and my oldest daughter went for a walk around mama's house down these bunch on old cement stairs that I used to walk up and down as a child going to and from school... At the bottom of the long stair way across the street is a dirt road as we called it as children, way after I had grown up they right next to the road made a community garden... And my daughter as a child played there and helped plant etc... On the way home she mentioned it and I was busy looking around and I saw this beautiful tree in bloom with such pretty Blue Lavender color to it... I just had to have a piece...
So I pulled off a piece and I had a tiny coat of flowers in my hair all over my sweater but in my eyes it was well worth it the tree is just beautiful... I really just wanted to dig it up and bring it to Mama's house and put it into the garden...
Oh you make also a Grannyblanket! ♥ Wonderful, love it!
