That's just what I did...I washed it up cause It has been sitting for a good three years...since my panic attacks had started I couldn't drink coffee and I was to scared to try decafe..but finally got the nerve..
I was so happy yesterday to be making some Perkulator
coffee.. the smell was just divine...
I used to own a plug in one
that was nice but it broke on me and I later found this one at a second hand store and I just had to have it.
So I washed her up and got her ready and on the stove ... just waiting for her to start perking..
She is in good shape no staining inside yet... and just beautiful on the outside...
I just love corning ware...
I have many pieces
I have these filter's but couldn't find them anywhere..so I made one with a paper towel.
Got my cup ready ...
waiting patiently...
It's getting ready to perk...
It's getting all steamed up...
I just love Blue & White don't you
I love Blue glass just about anything Blue & White, Linens
glass ...
I have another corning ware pot I use to boil water in... I found this one across the bay at a
Goodwill... Clean perfect condition as well... they look so pretty on my clean white stove...
This one is short and chubby...but large...
Some where I have a smaller version of this but haven't been able to locate it
I was surprised when I found this a couple of years ago...
It's perking...Yes...
All ready now....fresh perkulated coffee...so happy...
when I was looking for the filter's I ran across some little recipe book's
I have some newer one's and some older one's they used to give out from different machines you bought back in the day ... blender's...
then there was some of those card ones I found this recipe for cinnamon buns
lol but guess what I forgot to bring it with me...
So I could share with you...they are pretty simple to make and taste pretty good...
I will try to remember to bring it next time..wishing you all a lovely weekend..I hope you enjoyed your visit with my coffee per kulator.......
with love Janice...

Janice,
ReplyDeleteYour lovely post made me want to go make a pot of coffee. I also can't have too much caffeine, I deal with anxiety issues. I have a certain amount of caffeine a day and then switch to decaf. I'm trying to wean off the diet coke, and then I'll be down to all coffee. I've been drinking decaf for years, or a combination of regular and decaf, and it's fine. I wish I had known you afraid to try it, I would have told you to go for it! I'm so sorry about your mom, I hope it all works out. My mom had lung cancer about 8 years ago and it was awful. Oh boy, life is never boring, is it? Thanks for visiting and leaving the nice comment. Hang in there my friend.
Hugs,
Julie
