Its a lovely Wednesday

Even though it is crispy cold out the sun is shinning and it felt kind of nice to smell the air...
I went out to move the car for sweeping...  First I want to say hello to everyone and thank you all for your lovely comments and visits...  Next I want to say a special hello to dear pammy sue and let her know that I enjoy her visits and my visits to her place...  I want you to know that I might not read every post but I do come often and Im sorry for all those ugly people out there and I'm glad that I know you and wished you lived closer by me so we could hang out wink...  Sending love your way and glad flecher is feeling better...  Her doggy was sick...
Well I finally got up to setting a winter table...  I'm not sure that everyone knows but I no longer celebrate the holidays...  But I love the seasons and their changes...  So this is my Winter table...
I did a lot of mixing, I think its a nice then to always have every little piece matching...
Starting with a large White plate, called Garland stoneware, from China...  Then a clear glass soup bowl, Malaysia, which are like a depression glass...
I love them...  I found a whole set plates etc...  a while ago at the local Goodwill...  the pieces were
99 cents each to my surprise...  They had an eight piece setting but I just purchased four piece setting...  Then I added salad plates by Avon in Deep Red... Called Cape Cod...
And topped them all with my Royal Albert's  old Rose pattern teacups and saucers...
I mixed and matched them...  I had two which I thought I had four of, White ones...  But I didn't
So that's how that came about lol...  But I love it...
Then I added my Royal Albert teapot sugar and creamer...

      Place setting...

I have always loved Royal Albert's old Roses it is the most beautiful pattern,  when I was younger I used to dream about having it...  Though I only have a few pieces I'm very satisfied...
This Chocolate pot is also Garland, I adorned it with a pretty ribbon that I had...

Tying it in ties then crossing it behind...  Coming back around to tie it again...

I love the embossment on the here and the plates...
My Royal Albert December cup, that I really love the flower blosooms are deep and rich and just lovely...

I wanted to share this tiny teapot for your tea leaves that I found last year at the tea shop...  Geeze haven't been there in so long...

      Vintage napkins ...

Vintage Desert cups...    Ready for some homemade Chocolate pudding...

Winter table setting so much fun to arrange and share with all of you...  Have a lovely rest of the week...

  1. Oh my GOODNESS, Janice. The table setting looks absolutely gorgeous. I LOVE the Old Country Roses pattern, too, and have about 10 dinner plate, dessert plates and cups. My daughter gave them to me as a gift one birthday many years ago. They are soooo beautiful. Love the red Cape Cod plates, too. Well, everything looks beautiful. Hugs to you on this fine Wednesday! 3. A stunning table setting. I LOVE Royal Albert Country Roses, it is the one complete set that I own. It has taken me 35 years to collect, gifts from family. It goes perfectly with the beautiful Cape Cod plates, such a stunning shade of Red. Adorable grand daughter.
