Good morning, it had been rainning most of the morning and all of a sudden it has stopped and the sun has appeared... But honestly I think it might just play peek a boo all day, but the wind is blowing very much...
This is a photo that I found and bought for two dollars at a antique shop after mama had passed on... I thought her to be very pretty... The photo was nice and clean and seem to had been well taken care of...
It was a wonderful antique shop some day I hope to return there... It was down by the Ocean away
from San Francisco... My daughter in law drove me there, it was a nice get away at the time and a moment to forget the aweful pain that I had inside just watching my mama take her last breath and putting her in the ground of no return... It was definitely a sad event and effected me very much so... I hadn't felt that terrible since I watched my oldest brother be burried at 34 years of age... These two were the greastest parts of my life... people in my life that I was very close with...
Just so pretty, and such a lovely dress...
I also purchased this photo as well... There were many items that were so beautiful there that I would have like to had bought but money, well there is always a limit on money in my life...
You see in my mind I have a vision how I would like my room to be... At mamas house...
I want my room to be old fashioned with beautiful wall paper Blue and White Roses perhaps... With these photos about on the wall...
Along with these I have old photos of my own family....
Along with other vintage items that I already have...
This is a vintage photo case that I have had for years now, that of course I found on one of my dads work truck...
It opens up and has a lovley photo inside of a woman and her baby...
Vintage combs that I once found... A hand mirror the handle is dented in but it doesn't bother me
Though...
A watch to make like old with a pretty ribbon band... On a vintage laced tray...
Another piece that I found years ago... Inside is linned with velvet cloth... I believe it was once covered in Silver... And has worn with time... I keep tiny little earrings inside... It's a piece that I have always admired...
A Silver spoon bracelet that i bought a few years ago that is in great need of cleaning, I was looking for where I had put it and couldn't find or remember... But now it's found and its time to clean it...
A vintage pedant found from the truck...
A silver oynx pill box, with a little amethyst stone in the middle...
Well the sun is surely playing peek a boo today... But the winds are still blowing... ,I can only imagine that it is cold out... And I'am perfectly fine staying inside for as I'am still sick and do not wish to get more sick, thank you very much... Wishing you all a lovely afternoon may many blessings be put upon you and yours ....
with love,
Janice
Oh Janice. She is a pretty lady. Looks almost Hispanic. Wonder who she was and what her life was like. How interesting. I think your vision of the wall at Mama's house is wonderful. Keep planning that room! That house! Your dream cottage-come-true. It WILL come true. I just know it will. And you will make it GORGEOUS. Susan
