Just a thought or two or three



Good mornin, I just thought today I would share some vintage photos that I found... I'm day dreaming of changing my Dinning Room but spent the early morning surfing looking at vintage Kitchen's, Table cloths you name it.. I have a lot of blue in my house Kitchen and Dinning area.. So I'm thinking seriously about changing that area to greens.. I love my blue but I have had blue forever..

I love this photo, the kitchen the sink area is wonderful the cabinets I love specially the middle one where it scallops .. love all those green glass knobs.. I had at one time a bag full of different sizes and a so called friends brother stole them I was so angry.. .. but I have this idea in my head of changing the knobs on my hutch to green and my buffet to green and paint them both .. I have had them both for years now. and they are due for a make over.......and I'm certainly ready for one...


I would like to get some green transferware.. I have several pieces of Green Pyrex... and I have some Jadeite which I love...
 
 I really like Green Pyrex .. I have a lot of  Turquoise and white..


I'm loving this green...wouldn't mind having this vintage tablecloth either...



Don't you wish you could just take things out of a photo that you want lol... wouldn't that be great..

Well I guess that's it for today .. I'm off to home to get ready for the assembly that church is going to have.. Friday Saturday and Sunday..It's a huge huge special Event.  I can't wait, I have to prepare some things to bring for lunch.. It's a all day Event.. they used to prepare food but it's to complicated so they now have everyone bring their own things.     Hi Janice! I hope you have a wonderful time at the convention. We went earlier this month in Jacksonville FL. We had so much fun, it was very uplifting and encouraging. I love your pictures. I know just what you mean. I wish I could take things right out of the photos too! It would be so much easier. We are in the process now of doing some painting and remodeling. I too love pinks, greens, blues and yellows but it is so hard to find the pretty Victorian/Shabby Chic/Tea Room/Rose/Vintage stuff that I love. :)

    It seems like every store I go into only has russet, autumn/taupe/and aqua blue colors. And roses? I haven't seen a pretty rose printed or damask curtain in at least 8 years. Sigh! I have been scouring Ebay and Etsy and have been piecing a few things together a little at a time. My bathroom is being painted this week. I picked a robin's egg blue color with bright white trim. I also found a cute white battenburg lace shower curtain on Ebay. Have a lovely weekend ahead! With Love, Delisa :)

    Aren't these vintage kitchens wonderful? I can just see all your blue and white lovelies in a vintage kitchen. There's something about blue that makes me smile.

    I love your new 'Pink House' Header. You are always changing things around, which is good. I would like to change our Header more often too, but Jess does most of the design work on our blog. I read on your last post that you weren't feeling well? I do hope that you feel better soon.
