Rainy day again, but good for my Garden .....makings for a bird bath...Mosaic ?

Good morning everyone, it's a rainy day again here in San Francisco...It's okay thought cause it will be good for my garden and the new seeds and bulbs I added...I finally got my bearded blue Iris can't wait till they bloom...I worked hard in the Garden Easter Sunday...I had stayed home and everyone else went some place..and I cooked a Ham and Green Beans Mashed Potatoes Sweet Potatoes and a Peach upside down cake...later on...but I got all my seeds in finally and I'm done for now...still in need of those bricks and some grass....Anyways...I was downstairs browsing around and thinking in my mind I want to take my birdbath home but I don't even think I can carry it...So as I was looking for a pot I saw the tall vase thing...and too fast my mind went o...and I got the things to make my own and I can tile it all and do a nice mosaic like I want...what ya think going to add a couple of things to make it a bit taller...
For now this is what I did till I gather all that I want and need...so exciting can't wait to get it done.... my garden is looking quite good now really just need some grass and brick or gravel or stepping stones...then it would be complete...
Here's were I worked on and put my seeds...and some new plants a Purple Heirloom Tomato plant...some basil and two different peas...shelled and edible pods..Some Jalapenos and Radishes, Carrots two kinds, Gr Onions, Beets, Turnips, Leeks and Mustard Greens and Collards and my Red Chard I had already started...I'm so glad I got my seeds in finally It's already April should have been done in March..but the rain and rain...
My Purple Heirloom Tomato can't wait to see them and use them...
I almost forgot, I had bought some Purple Green Beans...and they just popped up ....
Looking so much better now...
The other side of the Garden I have been working on too...I call this my white side...and fairy Garden by the bench...I dreamed last nite of a brick floor winding all around the tree and up the path way...with my old bench all painted and pretty with pretty cushions...
This is the beginning of it
My new Hummingbird feeder, have been wanting one for two years now..finally got the one I wanted...Pretty angel...to watch over them...I love Hummingbirds they are my favorite
New little blue pot w/some tiny Purple Pansy's...thought I moved it inside to my kitchen window...
Last year this was a tiny fern I found at mom's on the side just barely it was hangin on some moss like...so I gently took it off and brought it home...there were a lot of them they must have blew in the wind from somewhere...this one is the biggest...looks so nice now.
These were seeds that blew in my Garden and I move them and now they are big and pretty...
Got my pretty new Yellow Rose planted on the side...it has a lot of blooms like five of them...
Pretty Freesia flowers wanted some forever too...got these and some yellow ones..the neighbor has some white ones I think I should have gotten some white ones for the white garden...will see maybe they still have some...
Most of the Garden is complete now...just needing that Grass and other things for the pathway....
Here I'm thinking to make a potting table etc...then I dreamed of doing it mosaic...lol...crazy silly dreams rolling in my head...
It's so nice to go out back and get some Romaine lettuce out the Garden...
Ending with my latest hanging basket....I need one more though....well I hope that you enjoyed my Garden...and you have a most wonderful day today...rain or sunshine...with much love Janice....I like this quote...enjoy your day...

  2. Your garden is looking just lovely! I have most of my little veggie/flower plants still in the greenhouse, it will be safe to plant them out here in May.
A fun chard to try one time is 'bright lights' you get various coloured stems on those, they look quite pretty in the garden (and are tasty too!).
Have a nice day today..I can't wait to see the bird bath finished ( I am sure it will look great!).
