These are two of my most favorite vases... The lite green one I think is maybe a fenton piece it does not say but that's what it reminds me of... Of course I have had it for years and it's a piece that came off my dad's trucks a found treasure from long ago that someone threw away because they didn't care about it... But I'm sure there was once another woman who owned her that loved her as much as I do... The darker green one I found a just a few years back and I love this deep green, I think it's so pretty and Roses looks so beautiful in it... This green glass looks good with Pink as well...
Before, I forget my first bloom came out of the new dollar African Violet... Isn't it pretty... I love the two tone flowers... Here is the other one from the kitchen... Two tone as well...
When I bought them I really didn't know how they would be... I'm really enjoying them...
I adore angels, do you? I especially love this one, she was found at a local thrift store a few years ago... And the shelf she sit's on I also found before Mama left us we were together so I put the angel there because it reminds me of her...
Another one found recently like a year ago thrifting...
And one more around the same time...but I havent seen anymore, but I don't thrift like I used to because I have so many things and Mama's on top of mine...
This little guy and gal, I found at a dollar store like the little girl with the duck they are so sweet... I hate when You find sweet things at the dollar store and then later they have junkie little things... Like several years ago they had the cutest little fairy's then nothing no more... I guess you can't have everything in life...
Mrs Victorian bear, now I've had her for a very long time too... Found her thrifting with Mama, boy those where the days... I miss them and her so much...
A big Victorian dress and a hat ... She has always resided in my living room...
A new Rose sugar and creamer for only 4.99 nice in perfect condition... I love Roses everything...
My hands feel like ice cubes... Winter is on it's way...
Pretty boxes from Ross to hide my magazines in... Plus it also keeps them clean and nice for reviewing...
My tiny white kitten's and the tinyest tree... Well I guess it's time to get busy and finish up this living room, well hopefully anyways... I wish you a lovely afternoon and I thank you for your visit's and sweet comments, they are always appreciated... And If I don't visit often it's because so much is going on in my life... Have a great new week, with love Janice 💋

ReplyDeleteSuch pretty things and sweet memories to go with them! I know what you mean about not being able to find good things much any more. I used to be able to find lovely things for my shop in wonderful condition and at great low prices. I was able to offer these in my vintage shop at low prices for my customers. Now it is hard to find vintage things and if I do, they are badly broken or damaged. Even the linens are in rough shape. I cant sell things like that in my shop........or wont. So now I go to estate sales and the prices are so much higher.......I can't buy as much and I have to be higher on my prices. I can just imagine how lovely your home must look!
ReplyDeleteLovely post Janice! im looking for your christmas decorations and also the change of your blog, you have much inspiration...thanks for sharing...happy day!
ReplyDeleteYou have some lovely pieces in your living room. The African violets are looking good, I usually end up killing them. Have a nice week.
