A day of resting...

I awoke early this morning...  Thinking of all the things I need to do, but trying to stay focused on just the things for Thursday..  Having to pay the first installment for the taxes, thank God they are split in to two payments...  So I ended up doing that today..   But this morning I lingered in bed me and sweetpea..  I been away from home for several days..  At mamas mamas house isn't far away by car about 15 mins...  If that in the freeway..but I had been there gathering all the paint cans and chemicals there is tons of it.  The good part is all I had to do is take photos and they come to pick it up hooooray..  i will be glad when thats done with.    Above is this mornings breakfast with some tea in bed...  This only happens I don't know when I never do it...  But today I woke up with no hurry to rush off into the living room or anywhere for that fact.
Used this sweet yellow teapot....  With No name
So early around 6:30  or so I got a tray for the bed and a teapot and cup and saucer and made some tea...  Turned on miss potter .....
I also used this yellow rose teacup but I switched the saucer for yellow and fushia roses...  And a rose napkin...

A rose pillow sham, don't you just love roses....  I do very much....
The light was coming in now and my tummy was growing a bit, so I got up and made some breakfast....

Zucchinni and tomato over my egg...  Nothing big. Lol

Probably by the time you read this post it will be Thursday early morning....  I will be on the bus and off to mamas to meet my o,dest daughter than off to the court house we will go to handle some business.....  Then Saturday morning more business handling...  Then Sunday Church...  My body feels tired and wants to stay home but I can not...  I want to thank everyone for there kind words and hugs it felt good to share with you all and you understand and send hugs..  I needed that I believe...So and big Thank you to you all and lot of love...  Off to bed and hopefully I sleep well...  May God bless us all and watch over us...
                     🍂🌷🍃🌺With love Janice🌺🍃🌷🍂

  5. So happy you are having a morning filled with all your pretty things. Those curtains by your bed are so pretty, with the light filtering through the pretty floral pattern. Your breakfast served on your pretty china seems to be just just what you needed. Indeed, I should think everyone loves roses. Hope all the affairs you have to attend to reap positive results. Remember little steps at a time. Sending you hugs. Xx

  6. Janice, that yellow rose tea cup and saucer is soooo pretty. Your breakfast looks good. I've never thought of having scrambled eggs with zucchini, Yummy. Sometimes the nicest days are the ones when we can rest.

Enjoy these Autumn days while they last.

    1. Sheri, I barely never do this but it was warming. I love zucchini with eggs sometimes I shred them and fry a bit and make scrambled eggs.. This time i slightly sauted them and fried a egg popping the yolk. But not cooking the yolk all the way.. And my daughter had some fries left over i placed a few on the bottom.. Tasted pretty good to me. Thank you dear Shari

  7. Hi Janice. Everything looks so pretty. I LOVE roses, too. Your shams are totally lovely. You have a very artistic, romantic soul, that's for sure. I just read your post from yesterday and it made me very sad that you have walked such a difficult walk. But you seem strong to me and you have found the Lord. That, of course, is all you need for the rest of your life on earth. That song that plays on your post is beautiful and fills my eyes with tears. Thank you, Janice, for your lovely little corner of the world. You have created a place of peace, love, beauty and art. Susan

  9. Ahhh...breakfast in bed! I never allow myself that luxury, but do have the occasional very early morning tea. You have such pretty linens and teacups to enjoy your quiet morning alone. I hope everything went well at the court office and you are able to tick a few things off your list now. Take care,
    Wendy

I'm finally repaying the visit you payed me last week. You have a lovely blog. Breakfast in bed sounds divine. I've yet to experience that. I hope all goes well with the business handling and that you get your chance to rest very soon.
